Down in the basement the house offers an excellent welcome for visitors of both the Kesselhaus and the Machinenhaus with a vestibule, ticketing office and a vestiaire. Upstairs yet another event site has been constructed - Maschinenhaus- offering place for about 250 people.
The importance of keeping the charisma and appeal of the old building has always been emphasized during construction and renovation, as well as offering all the technological advantages an event hall needs to contain.

"Admiralspalast", AP 101, October 1-2

A gaudy star of the city's cabaret scene since the roaring '20s and the Weimar days, Admiralspalast today continues to offer up a program that succesfully mixes high culture with the club scene, shine with sweat, intimacy with excess.

Theatre, musicals, cabaret, gala events, parties (from jazz evenings to DJ sets), and a concert series (from singer-songwriters to rock and roll) take place in six spaces within the Admiralspalast - besides the sumptuous theatre (retro red velvet and gold leaf) there is the more intimate Studio (a smaller theatre), a concert space, the restaurant/cafe, a club, and the Foyer, a gallery and concert room.
